Geography & Travel Journals
Some journals like the Spelling Time cover more than one subject.
Thinking Tree Levels (roughly)
A1 = Pre Reader (Pre-K) ages 2-5
A2 = Beginning Readers (K-1st) ages 6-7
B1 = Early Elementary (2nd-3rd) ages 8-9
B2 = Upper Elementary (4th-6th) ages 10-11
C1 = Middle School (7th-8th) ages 12-13
C2 = High School (9th-12) ages 14-18
Level A -Geography & Travel
Spelling Time Level A is an amazing spelling journal. Not only is it a great introduction to spelling but geography too! Along with animals and instruments. One Spelling Journal covers four subjects, pretty amazing and fun! Take notice of the title “Do-it-together” this journal is meant to be done with someone and it’s okay if your little one doesn’t know how to spell all the words. It’s an introduction to fun learning and spelling. Keyword -FUN =)
Level B -Geography & Travel
Spelling Time B (like Level A, this covers more than one subject!)
All About Endangered Species Level B -ages 8-17
Travel Dreams Geography – Seven Amazing Continents Level B2
United States Handbook Level B2 (7th-12th grade) the recommended grade is 7th+ but I think a younger child can handle this (with help if needed) the pages gently guide the student. Use books to fill in the pages and help younger children if the computer is needed (personally, I have my kids use mostly books with this one).
Travel Dreams is another that is recommended for 7th grade and above but can be used with younger kids, ages 10+ this one was recommended in the Starter Pack for children 10+ which was created by Sarah.
